Request for Donations for Temple Renovation & Construction Activities

Here is a request from a temple seeking donations for the ongoing construction activity. The activity is Huge and is being done in a big way.

What you can do for this cause?

Step 1: Take 5 minutes (or less) to read this mail

Ø You might be spending a fraction of time that everybody spends on reading/ deleting all the junk mails and networking or marketing mails that are received everyday

Ø This might be much lesser time than how much time we might have lost on phones / in person from marketing people to convince us to be part of Networking Businesses like Amway/ Quest / internet browsing etc or convincing us for some investments / plots etc luring us big money ….. here no such promises

Step 2: Take a decision to decide on whether this mail is junk or genuine (1 minute )

Ø You have all the contact info, bank info, personnel info by which you can confirm the genuineness. I am sure you would have received this mail from one of the persons whom you know.

Step 3: Decide to make a small donation as little as Rs 100 / 3 $ / 2 €. Here the most important thing is to act in time so that funds are put to use in right time (1 minute)

Ø It might be like any other amount you would have put “n” number of times in your favorite temple nearby. This time you are giving to a far off temple where some huge construction and special event is happening

Ø It might be very less at individual level but if this money is pooled from all it can be significant which can be put to use for a big cause

Step 4: Do the money transfer either using Online transfer / wire transfer / money order / handing over cash to the person in chain who can coordinate and put the money into Temple account (5 – 20 mins max)

Step 5: if you like this concept and Idea, you can as well forward this to your friends or colleagues who can be interested in this cause ( 1- 5 mins ) … When you forward the mail , you can put the mail id rakshapuram.temple@gmail.com in CC. so that we know the process to get in touch with you to send you a receipt.

By doing this what you would have achieved is …….You have successfully become a part of a chain who would have made a small dream real. If the internet mails and marketing is used by many people to become millionaires etc atleast we would have made something useful to the society using the technology and more importantly by spending some time and money from our lives.

This is a humble request to all the devotees. The trust board of Sri Uma Maheswara Swamy Temple is seeking donations for the ongoing Temple construction activities and Nutana Vigraha Pratishtapana of Sri Padmavathi Alivelumanga Sametha Sri Venkateshwaraswamy, Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi, Ayyappaswamy, Trishakthi Peetham (Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswathi ) activities at the Uma Maheshwara swamy temple, Rakshapuram Colony, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad .

The construction work of all the above said temples is near completion spending around 50 lakhs of Rupees. This was possible only with the blessings of god and generous contributions of devotees.

His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Jagadguru Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kama Kothi Peetham has fixed the auspicious Muhurtham as 24^th March 2008 for the Prana Prathista of the idols. To our fortune Sri Sri Sri Jagadguru Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kama Kothi Peetham has agreed to do the Pratishta himself.

As of today, we have spent about 50 lakhs over the past 10 years to reach this stage and going forward till the Pratisthapana Mahotsava day by the coming month of March 24^th , we expect additional expenses to the tune of 15 lakhs to complete the remaining works and also Prathisthapana of the idols. We have promises from the devotees to meet those expenses to some extent but still there is deficiency of the funds to complete the holy task. In this context, we are requesting all the devotee communities to donate liberally to fulfill the final auspicious event.

The devotees can contact any of the below trust board members directly and can hand over the money or cheque and obtain a receipt or you can as well do the money transfer directly to the account of the temple at SBI , Chandrayanagutta branch. We will promptly send you an acknowledgement as well as temple receipt for the same.
